Examining Bodies, Syllabus & Benefits
Here at Carnaby School of Dance, we love prepping students for their Dance Examinations and are strong believers that Dance Exams help boost confidence, allow students to demonstrate their progress, gain a sense of personal achievement and work more enthusiastically during their classes. Our students sit Royal Academy of Dance Exams for Ballet and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing Exams for Tap and Jazz. We hold Exams three times per calendar year: every April (Spring), July (Summer) and December (Winter), and we pride ourselves on our 100% pass rate and exceptional results each Exam session.

The earlier Exams aren’t too pressurised, but it does help students to prepare for the more serious and stringent later Exams.

Exams are a big feature in the calendar of Carnaby School of Dance and are performed two/three times a year.
